For a web based Matrix client (requiring no installation or anything else), go to:

If you want to download a client (optional), there are clients for android, IOS, linux, windows and easiest of all, browser only version, which is probably ideal for trying out for the first time here:

If you are new to Matrix, and using the browser version...

Sign in
Click the Explore icon (top left under your username)
Type makerspace in the search bar
NOTE: You'll find a room called: Makerspace (Newcastle) (address is #makerspace-ncl-main:matrix.org) - That's us!

Maker Space Member list

There is a members list all members are subscribed to during the sign up process. Ask if you are a member and have not been added somehow!

It is used to discuss around, make decisions about the space operation and notify of updates to machine maintenance and the space in general.

Please Note: Emails to this list are vetted. Please do not attempt to send marketing material to this list.
